Pre-authorized debit (PAD) — give directly from your Canadian bank account, set up as a recurring gift.
All three numbers are printed along the bottom of one of your cheques, and appear on your online banking under account details. They go directly to our payment processor — the parish never sees or stores them.
Pre-Authorized Debit Agreement.
You authorize St. Patrick Parish to debit your bank account for the amount and on the frequency you selected above, as a personal pre-authorized debit (PAD).
You may revoke this authorization at any time from your donor portal or by contacting the parish; revocation does not apply to debits already processed.
You have certain recourse rights if a debit does not comply with this agreement — for example, the right to a reimbursement for any debit that is not authorized or is inconsistent with this PAD agreement.
For more information on your recourse rights, contact your financial institution or visit cdnpay.ca.
Your name and email are required for bank giving so we can send your authorization confirmation. After you give, watch for two small deposits (a few cents, marked ACCTVERIFY) in your account within 1–2 business days — confirming those amounts activates your gift.
